Also unlikely that any other 9MM magazine will work. A while back there was talk about a 9 rd. mag, but I'm not sure anyone has ever seen one.When that happens, try moving it around a little til it pops in place. The spring itself will try and center up the assemble, but you want the plunger end cap to be centered. You get used to it after a while and it becomes second nature.
