Armscor ammo problems.

Feb 21, 2015 · Bought a case of Armscor about time this regime gained the throne..for $.04 a round.. Works great in every thing I own.. No problems, accurate but a bit smoky. All ammo must meet international specs.. thank goodness for that.. Pick up a 30-06 round made in WW1.. it will fit in the newest rifles with no problem. Must be a bad batch. About 3000 rounds at least. I have used .30M1 caliber ammunition but experienced no problems.

The ammo shot perfect and was well packaged. The 22tcm round I believe is a necked down 9mm and was fun to shoot. We were hitting an 8 inch steel at 100 yards with ease.Armscor 22 lr ammo. 22 TCM Failure to Extract. I recently bought a 22 TCM/9mm. There was no ammo available locally so the first time I shot it I shot 200 rounds of 9mm. It functioned perfectly using the installed extractor and changing to the 9mm barrel. This week I received the 22 TCM ammo that I had ordered.Amscor is the only brand that sells some ammo in a box labeled "for bolt action only". To be fair, Geco sells a 'Bolt Action' labeled variant. Terrific price in my estimation. However, it has been a very long time since I've used this brand. If memory serves I had no problems with it in informal target shooting.

After shooting plastic guns for years (mostly XDM. 40) I sought after and purchased a SA TRP 10mm 6" from my local indoor range. I unboxed it and ran 2 boxes of Armscor ammo (1008 fps) that they carry (learned later I should have thoroughly cleaned it first).I was about the send the gun back to Taurus; however, I tried the gun with Critical Defense .357 mag and .38 special Federal and no problems whatsover. Looking at the Armscor ammo with range staff we found that about 60 percent of the rounds did not have the bullet seated properly in the cartridge. I bought one box, thankfully, of this ammo. It looks like the bullets are seated out too far. They are within spec. My manuals show 1.160 MAX OAL. These measured 1.159. But the bearing surface of the bullet extends out past the case about the thickness of a nickel.

I tried it for the first time a couple weeks ago in my Beretta Neos, automatic pistol. About one out of three rounds were a failure to feed. I then tried CCI mini-mags, marked .22 LR, 40 gr, 1235 fps, and they worked perfectly.Not a shooter in my .22lr CZ target rifles. Its pretty bad for consistency and grouping at 50yds from a bench.
